How did you first start writing? I started writing at the age of nine after reading the Little House On the Prairie series. I asked my mother for a diary and I started journaling. I did that for years until I was sixteen and decided to write my first book. I was going to be the Black Jackie Collins. I didn’t have a clue. Why do you love it? Writing is an escape for me. I can create my own worlds and characters. They can have happily ever afters even if the world isn’t happy. I love the idea that one day a hundred years from now someone will be enjoying my books and hoping to be the next LaShaunda Hoffman.
